You are summoned to attend the Meeting of the Council to be held at Meadows Village Hall, Church Lane on Tuesday, 8 December 2026 at 7.30pm, to transact the business set out below.

    Apologies for absence
    To receive apologies and decide whether to approve the reasons given (Local Government Act 1972, section 85).
  2. 2.
    Declarations of interest and dispensations
    To receive declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests and other interests in items on this agenda, and any requests for dispensations.
  3. 3.
    Public participation
    A period for members of the public to speak, as set out in Standing Orders. Up to 15 minutes.
  4. 4.
    Minutes of the previous meeting
    To approve the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday, 20 October 2026 as a correct record, for the Chair to sign.
  5. 5.
    Clerk’s report
    To receive the Clerk’s report for information. No decisions are taken under this item.
  6. 6.
    Finance: payments and receipts
    To approve the schedule of payments and note receipts, with the bank reconciliation.
  7. 7.
    Planning applications
    To consider planning applications received since the last meeting.
  8. 8.
    Precept 2027/28
    To agree the budget for 2027/28 and set the precept.
  9. 9.
    Christmas tree lights
    To agree the switch-on date and approve up to £150 for new lights.
  10. 10.
    Date of the next meeting
    To note the date of the next meeting.
