Accessibility statement
Prepared 2 November 2026
This statement covers Nimbo Minutes and the public meetings pages it publishes for councils. Councils are covered by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018, and we build these pages to help them meet that duty.
How accessible it is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Pages use proper headings, work with a keyboard and screen readers, have strong colour contrast, can be zoomed to 400%, and work on small screens. Agendas and minutes are published as web pages, not scanned documents.
What isn’t fully accessible
- Papers that councils upload (for example PDFs from other organisations) may not be accessible. Councils can ask the Clerk for another format.
- Dictation on the meeting screen depends on the browser’s own speech recognition.
Feedback and help
If you need information in a different format, or find a problem, email info@nimbosoft.co.uk or contact the council’s Clerk. We reply within 5 working days.
Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission enforces the accessibility regulations. If you’re not happy with how we respond, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
