Terms
Version 2 November 2026
These terms are between NIMBOSOFT LTD (company no. 17482585, England and Wales) and the council that signs up.
The service
Nimbo Minutes helps councils prepare agendas, record meetings, keep minutes and registers, and publish them. It includes checks based on the law of England and Wales as we understand it.
Guidance, not legal advice
The checks and reminders are guidance to help the council’s Proper Officer. They are not legal advice. The council and its officers remain responsible for the lawful conduct of meetings, for the accuracy of minutes and registers, and for following their own Standing Orders. Where the law or your Standing Orders differ from what Nimbo Minutes shows, follow them, and please tell us.
Paying
Prices are by number of seats, monthly or yearly, paid by card or by invoice within 30 days. You can cancel at any time; it stops at the end of the period already paid. If an invoice isn’t paid, we may stop new work being added until it is; your records and public page stay available.
Your records
The council owns its records. You can download everything at any time. If you leave, the public archive stays up unless you ask us to delete it.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep the service running, secure and backed up. We’re not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made by the council. Our total liability in any year is limited to the amount the council paid us in that year. Nothing limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms and will tell the council by email at least 30 days before a change that matters. The law of England and Wales applies.
